Tokyo Eats: Spring Valley Brewery

Daikanyama is a poppin’ modern neighborhood, filled with charming little shops, restaurants and cafes. As of right now, I could go as far to say it’s my favourite area in Tokyo.

If you caught my earlier post about Camden’s Blue Star Donuts, this place is two doors down.

A little bit pricey, but a lot bit beautiful, this brewery is filled with interesting beers and fresh Italian style plates. It’s open all day, until late night, making it a great place for any meal. And as it’s right next door to arguably the best donut place in Tokyo, it also makes it easy to sneak over and grab dessert.

I had the Yuzu infused beer (surprise!!!) and the kale risotto, which was delicious. Owen got the seasonal pizza and the beer flight- which came with a place mat describing each beer in great detail and who brewed it. One of the nicest beer flights I’ve come across. All the beers were awesome, some favorites being the 496, Jazzberry, and Daydream (the yuzu infused one).

We also stopped by for an afternoon beer and snack: Owen and I shared a flight and some nibbles like mixed olives etc. It’s got a beautiful outdoor patio to sit and enjoy the sunshine, or if it’s too chilly the inside is equally stunning with high ceilings and a sleek modern design.

If you’re looking for a cool space to hangout and eat good food, drink good beer, this is your place. Find it a 5 minute walk from Daikanyama Station.

Thanks for stopping by!
